I brought my guinea pig in last week with a hurt leg. They did a thorough examination. They gave me as good a diagnosis as possible without having done x-rays. They told me they felt it was not broken. They offered several options: 1) no treatment, allow it to self heal, 2) pain medication, self heal. 3) x-rays, medication, and possibly leading to further options should a break be detected. They did not pressure me into any choices, and gave me an honest opinion. I chose #3, and luckily, he only had a sprain. Dr Leonatti is one of the best, most caring, and knowledable vets I've met. She is highly recommended.
