Beware! This place charges for unnecessary tests! I've been a long time customer and during my last visit, the office vist fee increased with out my knowledge and they tried to tell me my dog had a loose cracked abscessed tooth and gave me an estimate of $1200.00 to extract it!! Also, tried to tell me my dog shows signs of liver disease and gave me another estimate of $600.00 for additional tests and ultra sound! Well, I can't afford all of that and needed a second opinion! The place I took him too, said he had a little crack in his tooth and it did not need to be extracted and it was not loose or abscessed! Reviewed his blood work and did not see any signs of liver disease! I feel Quail Corners is just looking to rob their clients and does not have the interest of the well being of animals at heart! Please beware!!

We took our cat in after her spay incision opened. They were fantastic! The staff was very polite and took great care of our cat. Highly recommended.

My cat has a lot of anxiety and gets very stressed out when going to the vet. Everyone at Qual Animal Hospital always does their best to help our furry friend feel calm and cared for. They are always willing to listen to my questions and concerns and truly help to make sure my cat is happy and healthy.

My cat was just diagnosed in the evening with a mast cell tumor that had metastasized to her lymph nodes throughout her abdomen. I could tell she was in pain and was suffering from a fever. My cat was receiving care all the way back home in Randolph County. I couldn't take another day of my cat suffering, so I called Quail Corners Animal Hospital during their emergency hours to euthanize her. Mary Alice, the receptionist, was extremely kind and understanding and gave me the pricings and information I needed. I went into their clinic 20 minutes after calling and was attended to immediately. They clearly outlined everything and did everything to their ability to comfort me. When it came time to put her down, Dr. Dawn Lanza came into the room. I could not have asked for a better person to be doing this difficult task and to be with me. She informed me how it would work and started the procedure. In under a minute, my friend had passed pain free. What stuck out to me was that Dr. Lanza had compassion and empathy. My veterinarian back home is great, but Dr. Lanza is really unique in that she connects with both her patients and pets. I want to thank you, Dr. Lanza. When it is time for me to have another pet, this vet practice will be my choice in the Raleigh area.

If I could rate it higher, I would. Both, Dr. Shannon Raboin and Kristen Raboin are the best. I have 3 dogs and 1 cat, now but I would not take my pets anywhere else, ever. Both of these Doctors go out of their way to take care of all my animals. I am reading all these other reviews and I cannot believe what I am reading. I had a dog that was very sick and his regular vet could not be bothered to listen to what I said about my dog. Dr. Shannon Raboin saw him in an emergency situation and was able to diagnosis him and was very concerned about me, my dog and my pocketbook. I recently had to put my 18 year old cat down and it was done very professionally, again by Dr. Shannon Raboin, after all the care he and Dr. Kristen Raboin had taken trying to save her. It was very nice the way they did what had to be done and presented her back to us when she was ready to be picked up and taken out of there for the last time. And let me tell you I am not easy to please when it comes to my pets, but they are never in a rush and are always willing to talk to me and take the time to explain everything. As for the staff, they are the best. always professional and courteous and willing to go the extra mile to answer questions.
