I cannot express how angry I am with this vets office, there are absolutely no words for it. I'll just explain the situation in the calmest manner possible. My mother had used this vet for over a decade, something like 12 years. Late in 2009, she had to have her 15 year old dog put to sleep there. Come May 2010, we adopted a new dog and began taking her to a different clinic in town. We were in no way unhappy with Benvenue Animal Hospital at that time, but my mother was simply uncomfortable with returning to the place where her last dog was put to sleep. Long story short, we haven't exactly been happy with the vet we're going to now, so we were planning to go back to Benvenue. Come to find out, they will refuse any past patients that have left them for another vet. While I can understand refusal of past patients that caused problems, I do not understand refusing past patients for NO reason. So, simply because we went to another vet THREE TIMES, we've been refused service by these people. This is an absolutely childish and unprofessional way to run a business. These people are spiteful, uncaring and insanely jealous of the other vet offices in town. They don't care about you or your animals, they're only concerned about not getting the $300 you spent at another vet's office. You don't want my money? Fine, you certainly won't be getting it. But if you're going to run your business in such a spiteful fashion, you deserve to have no patients at all.
