WARNING! DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL THERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET! I brought my cat in with serious breathing issues and they left her in the back for over an hour and half while they saw a dog that had eaten a piece of pizza!!! There were other animals in there, too, but that was the one that put me over the edge and asking them to give me back my cat so I could take her to a REAL EMERGENCY hospital. I drove to the vet hospital in Cary and they took her right in and they even acted liked they cared, unlike the Tech's and Vet in Vass. If I could post without giving a star I would, but you have to give at least one to post.

This is by far the worst pet hospital I have ever been too. The vet never actually touched my pet to look at my pet's wound. The vet tech wrapped up my pet's ear without even cleaning it out. The wrap came off after 2 minutes and they didn't even try to put it back on. My pet is clearly a boy and they kept calling my dog a girl. I will never go back here and I recommend to anyone that actually wants a vet to care about their pet then to never go to this place!

My English Bulldog got very ill over a week ago and we took her to Small Animal Emergency Services in Vass, NC. Unfortunately my little girl died before arriving there. Vet could not tell us what the cause was, suggested a Necropsy, but said that doesn't always determine cause of death either. The main reason for this review is that I just wanted to thank their staff and the compassion they showed from the time we arrived. They were very sympathetic. The offered to wrap a blanket around my dog, Daisy, to transport her back home. I asked them what I owe and they said nothing. They even sent a sympathy card a week later.

Over the years, we've had multiple reasons to visit, unfortunately for our pets, yet fortunate for them and us as we've found the support staff and the vets to be excellent. This ranges from cat and dog injuries to imminent signs of cancer. All were quickly and appropriately diagnosed and the care was very compassionate. We are very glad to have this wonderful resource available when our usual vet isn't open.
