Im not sure why this other person left such a bad review because my experience was great. It was my first time going there and all the employees came up to my dog giving it treats and petting him and making him feel at home. Everything there was very professional. This is one of the first vets I have been to where i don't feel like they're trying to sell me something. Dr. Kern is also a very nice man who you can tell loves animals. It has been two or three weeks since I went in for my dogs itching problem and thanks to Dr. Kerns advice the problem is now gone and my dog looks as healthy as ever. Thanks Balsam Animal Hospital!

The WORST experience I have ever had at a vet’s office. I would never recommend anyone going. It was close to our home when first moving to the area and found it convenient and we took our small dog only to discover it to be the most terrible experience of my life at a vet’s office. I would NEVER take another animal of mine into this office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
