I saw that some people rated them bad a couple years ago, and I am not sure why. I LOVE LaCroix Veterinary Hospital. They are SO good to my Benji. They treat him with the most care I have ever seen in a Vet office. EVERYONE is so nice to me and my dog. I have recommended a lot of people to them. Thank you guys! I will never go any where else.
Our 2 dogs - 12 years and 6 months - are well taken care of! Dr Cucerra spends time with owner and pets to provide the best CARE! We are here to stay!!
I found a tapeworm exiting my puppy's rectum and identified it with the help of online sources. I called this place up and informed them of my financial situation. ( I am litterally broke at the moment) and asked them If I could purchase the medicine that was needed called "praziquantal" without having to pay for appointments and testing. The receptionist showed no compassion for my situation and informed me of the price. Over 30 dollars just for a visit and 20 for the testing, then another 25 for the meds. I plead with her to just let me buy the medicine but she coldly refused. I later found the exact meds i needed online for less than 10 dollars. I am very disappointing in La Croix's attitude towards customers and their lack of compassion for sick animal. this litterally made me furious and I am convinced they are not concerned with the welbeing of pets, instead they are determined in jacking up the price of healthcare.
I was a long time client of Dr. Lacroix and he was wonderful. I took my dog there for a regular yearly exam right after he left. I understand the new owner(s) did not want it made know that he had left because they want to use his name and reputation. Unfortunatly, they can not live up to it. We even gave them a 2nd chance and after $600.00 in 2 visits with nothing but 3 xrays and a blood panel and urinalysis - (yes, $600.00 for that) they then said my dog needed a surgary for $700.00 - I went home got a 2nd online paid consultation with a DVM because when I started looking at what they had told me it did not make sense - He said find a new vet. Unless you just like to throw money away go somewhere else.
