We cannot say enough nice things about EC Vets. We took in our kitty one early Sunday morning after we feared he had suffered a stroke. The vet techs and the veterinarian were responsive, caring, and professional. (Our baby turned out to be OK). They also faxed over a copy of their findings to our regualr Vet for the kitty's records. We wouldn't hesitate for 1 second to take any pet of ours to EC Vets.

I have been to E C Vets 3-4 times over the last five years or so and have received expert, professional, courteous, friendly, and reasonably priced service each time. Of course, the charges are generally somewhat higher than at the regular veterinary hospitals because of the emergency fee; however, I have never found their fees exorbitant, and tonight, when I took a cat in that I thought might have a urinary blockage, they did not charge me anything at all. The vet examined him and determined that he did not have a blockage and that she could obtain no urine from him for testing. So she sent him home with me with some nosorb litter to try to get a urine sample to take to my regular vet in the morning. She said there was no charge because they had not treated him. However, a regular vet would probably have charged just for examining him for a blockage and trying to get urine, so I think their pricing is more than fair.

Yes, this place is open at night when no other place is. Yes they are more expensive than other places; however, the staff was polite and very helpful in an emergency situation. People need to stop complaining about the price and understand that you pay a premium for special care.

Our dog was having a severe allergic reaction and she received excellent care. They immediately took her back and gave her the medicine she needed. Very polite and helpful. Encouraged us to call or come back if we needed anything at all. Yes, it is an emergency vet but it wasn't more expensive that what u would pay somewhere else. They were quick, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient : exactly what my dog needed.

My dog was hit by a car on Sunday. I looked in the phonebook and saw the ad for emergency vet services. I called EC Vets and confirmed that they were open and carried her in. They took two exrays, gave her pain medicine, and put her on an IV for fluids until my regular vet opened on Monday. Cost of services $670.00. The clinic was staffed by a group of young ladies and they were all very polite but the bang for your buck is minimal. In their diagnosis they missed a dislocated hip. My advise for anyone requiring emergency vet services would be to contact For The Love Of Dogs and have them refer you to someone that cares more about your pet than your wallet.
