EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT; most caring, considerate, understanding, patient with pet's personality; explained everything in detail; customer service was superb; loved the separate entrances; if you are seeking a great place for pet care, you can find it at the Animal Hospital West.

This place is awesome. I love the attention to detail and they are not overbearing or condescending like some other Vets in the area. I have been to several Vets in a short span of time. I found either character issues or practice issues with them all but this office, which looks "ghetto" from the outside, but is excellent. I see why they say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover as the other offices looked like a lot more money went into the facilities but the practice as a whole did not compare. I've never used this place for boarding so I cant speak to that but we have used them for grooming. It was reasonably priced and the staff seem very loving, as they all should. My dog was as well groomed as I could wish and the staff went above and beyond by giving her a medical exam. At first, when I picked her up and they told me about her eye condition, which we were already aware of, I felt they were over stepping there bounds and had no business checking her and putting stuff in her eyes without my permission. After I got over my initial shock and spoke with the Vet I was relieved at how professional and courteous she was despite my demeanor. She offered an eye gel that a friend gave me to help with the entropion and even my own vet, or previous vet, didn't offer the ointment despite my request. My previous Vet just exclaimed that "I needed to have the surgery done." Despite not being in a financial position to get the surgery my old Vet offered no short term solutions like Animal Hospital West did; and my dog was only there to be groomed! Needless to say I've been going ever since and Dr Rush is awesome. Not only does she show concern but she is genuine and does not speak at you, like some offices do, but to you. There is a dialogue between her and her patients, which is rare, as opposed to just giving instructions and asking if I have any questions so she can give more instructions. She gives her recommendations as just that and doesn't take herself to serious. As a side note, she is easy on the eye as well;)

Do not take your pets here.they hardly feed your pets when they are boarding..urine and feces are left in pets cages for long periods of time... they do not feed pets the treats that you bring them.. over 2% of employees are unprofessional.the packages that us customers pay for are not followed completely most of the time. extra walks and plays are not given to the pets most of the time, so do not even bother paying for them.. they hardly give your pets the bedding that you have payed for... overall this is not a good place to take your pet!

The people working at the time I visited were not reliable and concerned in helping me. Even though, I could clearly see they were not busy, they should hang up a sign to let their customers know what to expect at their vet in advance. The whole trip wasted my time.

Outrageously priced vets. Medicine is up to triple what you would pay online for the same thing. Unwilling to work out payment options or payment plans. Uncommunicative about what things cost ahead of time. All in all--very happy with their vets, very UNHAPPY with their billing/pricing/business practices. I intend to find another vet for all my animals.
