My family and I have been going here for years for all our babies (dogs!) we have had Dr.Craig, Dr.T and Dr.Bolden care for them. All are incredible. When my husband and I got our little Sadie, we had no doubt where she would go. They really care about every dog and "parent". When I was in high school, they allowed me to do a two week internship there and it was one I'll never forget. Seeing behind the scenes was amazing. I got to see their love for the animals was not a facade as they treated them with such compassion even when they thought no one was looking! Love them :)
My family and I absolutely love Mt Tabor! We have taken our dogs there for more than ten years and have always been treated well. Dr. Craig and Dr. T were with us through the good times and bad with our chocolate lab Hershey who passed away last summer at age 14. Even though her last few years were painful due to her extreme arthritis (among other illnesses), the doctors at Mt Tabor always comforted Hershey as well as us, and gave her the quality of life she deserved. When we had to say goodbye, they were so compassionate and loving, I could tell they would really miss her as well. We now have a new puppy Daisy and look forward to the years to come with Mt. Tabor!
Dr. Craig has taken care of my dogs for a long, long time. I've occasionally taken dogs to other vets for minor things just because of convenience, but if my dog is really sick he is going to Mt. Tabor. Dr. Craig has seen it all; he has often diagnosed issues with one exam that other vets couldn't figure out in multiple visits. We had a poodle with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis that was so bad we were considering euthanasia but Dr. Craig controlled it with diet and a medicine developed for pigs! The whole staff - vets, techs, everyone - genuinely care about your pets. MTAH is a wonderful place with kind, compassionate people.
Great staff! Great pet care! Mt. Tabor made time for us in a full schedule to see my dog as an emergency. Dr. T was thorough and caring and went the extra mile and took the extra time to make sure he received the best treatment. She educated me on treatment options and supported my decisions. My dog was diagnosed with a spinal embolism on the left side (spinal stroke) and had no control of his limbs on that side. A week later he is walking well on most surfaces!! Thanks Dr. T for taking care of my boy!!
This is a great animal hospital! The staff is always very friendly, accommodating, and helpful! They took care of my puppies when they needed it! I would recommend that if you want the best care for your pet, that you definitely take them to Mt. Tabor!
