Back in 2011 I was not a customer of Southside b/c I live an hour away but one day I brought my dog OSO to work with me and OSO became very sick. I raced to the nearest vet, OSO was 60 lbs. of dead weight and he was unconscious I pulled up at the front doors of the Southside Clinic and several staff members and Dr. Emerson rushed out, held the door and carried my dog in. They were working on him while they asked me questions. No time was wasted. They saved my dog's life. I now take both dogs to them. I trust them. If I take a pet in it's because I love my pet so why would I not want tests done if it will help my dog to have a happy healthy life.

Be sure to ask for an estimate up front because these folks will run up a bill on you mighty fast. My elderly parents brought their dog in because he wasn't eating and just lethargic. They ran test after test and prescribed several medications, totaling over $300. We ultimately bought a flea collar for $20 and he felt much better after a few days. I even called back and gave them the opportunity to rectify the situation and they weren't interested.
