I've been taking my animals to Animal Care on Hwy 33 for as long as I can remember. I decided to switch to Animal Care East in Winterville because I like Dr. Proietto. He's wonderful with my dogs. Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and professional. Every time I've been so far I was in and out within 30 minutes tops with an appointment. I highly recommend taking your animals there for their veterinary needs!!

The doctors and the staff here are wonderful. They are very knowledgeable and have helped my dog through a major surgery . I love the groomer Tina also.

I've been going here since 2007 because they are close to where I live, and they do a decent job, but no matter what your reason is for going, you'll be waiting to be seen for at least an hour, and it's generally another 30 minutes to an hour after you are seen. That's with an appointment and no other customers ahead of you. They do a good job, but if you're on any kind of schedule I would not recommend going here.
