This place is very pricey so be aware that they don't tell you up front what their costs are and then present you with a huge bill then tells you it is due at time of service or they will not release your pet. Their communication is very poor concerning what is happening with your pet. We can only hope that our pet was treated competently and that they just have poor customer service considerations. We paid and took our pet home but $500 was a very nasty surprise and it will be difficult for us. How very unethical.

Dr. Larson is the best vet. His care and knowledge about my cat's resistant infection was phenomenal. The only vet who was able to cure my cat, and took extra care doing it also. I have three cats, two with severe health issues, and Larson was the vet who helped them both! I would travel 100 miles or more to see this vet! The female vet there is also wonderful! (can't remember her name though...sorry.)

West ville is very good it is the best Animal Hospital in the world I would recommend anyone to go there

I didn't appreciate how revolutionary this veterinary clinic is until I moved away. These vets are incredible, and because of the way the clinic is structured, there is always a vet on call-- 24/7. If you have an emergency after hours, you can call the clinic's answering service, and the vet will meet you at the clinic, where they'll already have all of your records. Since I moved, I have not been able to find a vet even half as good as Dr. Larsen or a veterinary clinic where people are willing to work after-hours like this. Dr. Larsen is knowledgeable, caring, intelligent, experienced, and detail-oriented. I found him to be a skilled surgeon when he successfully performed an emergency urethrostomy on my cat, and he called me after the surgery to let me know how it had gone. Moreover, the West Villa staff let my emotional, sensitive cat recover from his surgery in a quiet room separate from noisy canine boarders because he is so easily upset by the presence of other animals. And while he remained there to recuperate, I got a call every day for an update on his status. My family has taken pets to West Villa for more than two decades, and we give them five stars.

I used to work in the kennels there, and have had my dogs boarded there many times. I also took my special needs cat there for therapy. The facility is clean, and they are friendly and reasonable people. I worked with many of them personally and I would trust them with my pets any day. Only downside is with a lot of employees and pets sometimes communication doesn't get to who it needs to. If you have special instructions for your pet while he stays, send a note back with them. Otherwise, it's a great choice.
