In the 15+ years we have been taking our dogs and cats to American Animal Hospital they have ALWAYS given EXCELLENT care and genuine Concern and when needed Compassion to our pets and ourselves. The only way ANYONE with a problem like the one Stephanie Vik's dog had would be put on a back burner and made to wait would be that ALL doctors were REQUIRED in administering a TOTALLY LIFE OR DEATH situation for some other pet. When our little 20-year-old kitty Miss Belle's back legs would not work we took her in and in spite of the fact that they were PACKED with patients she was seen IMMEDIATELY by Dr. Jesske and given every care and consideration possible. These people treat your pets like they were a part of their own family.

It is THE BEST place for your furry friends' care. The staff are absolutely AMAZING. They obviously care about what they're doing and who they're caring for! My furry baby isn't afraid. She happily goes inside. And when I board her for a weekend, I don't worry at all. I know they love her, give her lots of attention, play times, walks, and love! I wouldn't take her anywhere else!

We have been bringing our cats to American Animal Hospital for over 20 years. The doctors and staff are so caring and friendly. They were wonderful with our elderly cats and helped us make them more comfortable. They both lived to ripe old ages. Our new kittens love them. It is great that they are open 7 days a week. I refer them to all of our pet owner friends.

I have been going to American Animal Hospital for the past 15 years and I will never go to another vet. Dr. Jesske is the best, but all of their vets and support staff are great. They truly care about your animals. They offer a wide variety of services, so many of my friends have been referred to them by smaller vets for special treatments that their vet didn't offer, however I've always felt that their fees are very reasonable unlike some large vet clinics. The staff at American Animal is very understanding about family budgets and they don't nickel and dime you for unnecessary tests, medicines, or treatments. The receptionists, techs, and vets remember me and my dogs and ask questions when we come in which shows they care. American Animal is a win-win for any family! Large enough that they have great hours and a wide variety of services, yet they have never outgrown that extra care and attention that you get from a smaller vet clinic.

One of the best Vets that I have ever encountered. I live in a small town about 30 - 40 miles south of their location and there are dozens of vets between me and AAH but I still travel the 45 mins (occasionally through some pretty rough traffic) to take my dog and parrot to them. Their staff has always been super nice and understanding of all my pet family needs. I used to work in a small town vets office and their prices are not that much higher than what I remember charging a decade ago and the quality of care provided more than makes up the difference. I recommend this vet to anyone just as it was recommended to me.
