Dr. Z at the Benson Animal Clinic is one of the friendliest and calming people I've ever met! Apart from the challenge of finding the building (down a side street 1/2 block from Ames Ave) and figuring out how to park (no lines in the small parking lot), this was the BEST vet experience I've had. The waiting room is small but clean. The exam room was also small but serviceable and not really cramped. Dr. Z was super professional but very friendly--reminded me of my hometown vet. No fuss, no crazy fees, and Dr. Z was willing to answer any questions I had clearly (is iodine for cleaning surface infections, are the spots on his gums freckles or signs of dental decay, how can you tell the difference between a car wound vs. an animal fight wound, etc). He is really interested in taking the best care of your furry friends without crazy fees. This place was recommended by a friend, and going there was the best decision ever!

Dr. Zimmerman is by far the best vet in Omaha. All my Dundee friends have switched to Dr. Z because of his honesty and care for animals. I'm fortunate to have found this vet.

Best place in Omaha to bring your babies (cat/dog). I have been going to Dr. Zimmerman for over 20 years. I have had nothing but positive experiences with him and his staff. I love the fact his office is small but over the top when it comes to care and compassion for any 4 legged family member. Even though we no longer live in Omaha, we still load up the dogs and make the drive into the city to have Dr. Zimmerman care for whatever ails our babies or for just a check up or boarding. LOVE THEM!!!!!

Dr Zimmerman and staff have been with my family through new pets to old! They have always handled each situation with professionalism AND heart--a combination I have not found with other vet clinics. I absolutely recommend them for all your pet needs!
