This clinic was referred to us by a friend and it has been everything she shared. The staff and vets really understand and care deeply for pets. They also have the gift of explaining pet health to new owners and take time to answer all questions. I was concerned about my pet and after a call to the clinic, her doc called me back within an hour to answer any questions.

I have been going to Mobile Animal Clinic for over a year now and they have never disappointed me. Even though there are a lot of animal clinics closer to my house, I still take my loved one to Mobile Animal Clinic. They have great prices on heartworm and frontline compared to other places, but much more importantly, they care about my dog as much as I care for him. Dr. Garner is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She is *extremely* compassionate towards my baby and is great with answering questions. I couldn't imagine finding a better veterinarian for my dog! Try this place and Dr. Garner out, I promise you won't be disappointed!

Very bad experience here. My husband and I owned a 20-year old cat. My husband had Mobile Animal Clinic come out to give her a checkup. The doctor drew blood from her throat and gave her a physical. The next day, he called us and left us a message stating she "looked very good on paper" and was in very good condition for her age. That same morning, she began to vomit with a trace of blood in the vomit. Vomiting was not new for her, but having blood present in the vomit was. We called the vet out again Sunday morning to have him give her another look. He gave her a shot of tranquilizer and penicilin to help with the vomiting and give her stomach a rest. Our elderly cat immediately went downhill after the shot was administered. She could not walk and would not eat or drink. We were in contact with the vet for the next two days after this, concerned because she was not eating. This was not normal for our cat because she loved to eat, even at 20 years of age. She had been eating just fine until she was given the tranquilizer/penicilin shot from the vet. Two days after the shot, the vet left us a message on our answering machine stating he was "concerned" and felt our "old cat was on a dead-end road." This is a quote. I was already distraught over our cat's sudden decline, and hearing a comment like that did not make things any easier. The very next day, my husband and I were in the same room with our cat when she began to enter her final death throws. Extremely upset and distraught, we called Mobile Animal Clinic. I asked to speak with Dr. Westenberg; the receptionist (Rachel) said he was not available. I asked if I could have his home number. Rachel stated they were not allowed to give out that information. I proceeded to inform her of the situation, of how Dr. Westenberg had been looking at our cat for the past few days and how she was now literally dying in front of our eyes. Rachel cooly said that Dr. Westenberg would not be able to look at the cat until Monday (this happened on a Wednesday evening), and that they did not have anyone available to come out. Extremely upset, I said "thanks a lot" and hung up the phone. I could not believe it. My cat was dying in the next room, and they did not even care. They did not even suggest I take elsewhere. My husband and I packed up our dying cat and took her to the Emergency Animal Hospital on 157th and West Dodge, where she finally received the caring treatment she deserved. Unfortunately, it was too late and we had to put her down. The vet who looked at her at the hospital said she it was a very good possibility our cat had congestive heart failure as her abdomen was swollen, and after she passed, a brown liquid came pouring out of her mouth. If our cat was suffering from heart failure, how come Mobile Animal Clinic did not see this when they examined her TWICE? Congestive heart failure that severe does not appear overnight. Also, because Mobile Animal Clinic did not detect the heart failure, when they administered the tranquilizer to our cat, the tranquilizer slowed the already compromised heart down so much so that the cat's organs and systems began to shut down. I am writing this review because I want people to know what my husband and I went through and how we were treated by Mobile Animal Clinic. These are some of the most uncompassionate and uncaring people I have ever been in contact with. I will NEVER do business with them again because as far as I am concerned, they killed my cat. I own another cat and 3 dogs, and you can be darned sure I will not allow that clinic to touch them.

We have taken our two shelties there for 6 years and have always been treated with the utmost respect and care. Their treatment of our pets has been excellent and we would not take them anywhere else. They are always available and welcome a visit whether it is scheduled or we just drop in.
