Dr. Kim has got to be the most effective veterinarian my dog (Alfonso) has ever had the pleasure of receiving treatment from. I took my furry friend to Dr. Kim for the first time what was likely 6 years ago- my dog was 4 years old and had spinal issues (slipped disk). After trying several animal hospitals to manage his pain we went to Dr. Kim to see what could be done. 6 years later, my dog is alive and well thanks to Dr. Kim. We thought we would have to put him down at 4 years old but he's now 10.

We started using Edgewater Animal Hospital since 2008. Due to their outstanding service and kindness we have referred many of our own clients to them, who are very satisfied as well. Dr. Kim's practice is always professional and personalized. His attention to each pet and their owner is always re-comforting and humane. Dr. Kim and his staff are very professional. My cat is 17 years old, can be grouchy, and needs someone with a special touch, care, and understanding. This animal hospital is the best one I have been to. I had recently moved to Edgewater a little over a year ago so I had been to different veterinary offices and this has been the best experience yet. The staff is warm and welcoming and they always remember my pets name which is important to me because it shows they care, enjoy what they do, and take the time to remember each and every pet that visits their office. My dog is always nervous when he has to go to an office visit, but they are so gentle and caring with him and always try to relax him as best as they can which, in turn, puts me at ease as well. Also, because it is an animal hospital and not just a veterinary office, any and all procedures that are necessary for your pet can be done right there in their office. So you never have to worry about taking your dog elsewhere to some stranger for any type of procedure! Everything can be done on site at Edgewater Animal Hospital. Edgewater Animal Hospital has been very accommodating and more than welcoming as a whole and I say that about every member of the staff not just the doctor. I think Bacon feels the same but he won’t say. You can always tell when you’re with good people.
