Our dog had a broken foot and the doctor told us it wasn't. He never splinted her foot even when we insisted that it seemed broken. Two weeks later we took our dog to another vet who took another x-ray showing that there clearly was a break. We requested the old x-ray taken by Park Vet and we all could see clearly that there was a break. The doctor at Park Vet misread the x-ray, charged us $500, and nodded off several times in each visit. The vet at the new hospital, who was wonderful, had to re-break the leg, set it, and because the leg wasn't set right away by the doctor, she likely will never be fully recovered.

Been going to this vet for over 25 years and just recently lost a beloved pet to the inadequate care and treatment administered by Dr. Goldsmith & his staff. He clearly over medicated my cat which only weighed 2.5 pounds. He gave my cat an anesthetic which is risky for any animal because he couldn't handle him being stressed. The cat had no temperature and he couldn't find anything wrong with him internally after roughly prodding him. My cat laid lifeless on his table after he gave him the anesthesia, but he assured me he'd come out of it. He sent me home with no instructions on how to monitor him. Next morning when he called I told him he was worse and again....he'll come out of it. An hour later I called his staff and told them to have Goldsmith call me that the cat was in crisis....no one called me back. I called again and again no answer and no emergency number! My cat died in my husbands arms. This is not the place to go if you love your pet. Didn't even have the decency to send a sympathy note.

Dr. Goldsmith is very caring and experienced. I get the feeling that he really loves my Bailey. He saved her life when we first adopted her with a botched neutering job. He had to perform 2 different surgeries on her to fix the problem. Bailey was not improving and Dr. Goldsmith did another surgery completely free of charge. When she was finally discharged, he would call almost every day to see how she was progressing. May God give him long life and health to keep caring for so many.

I am so grateful to Dr. Goldsmith that I had to write a review. My cat got extremely sick very suddenly and I rushed him to his local vet who advised me I needed to go to Red Bank Specialists. Red Bank charged me a fortune and sent us home with medicine for asthma. He was not responding to their treatment and was getting worse gasping for every breath. After two failed visits to Red Bank and watching my cat suffer, I was desperate and learned of Dr. Goldsmith through a friend. Dr. Goldsmith called me back immediately on Memorial Day and gave me an appt. for the following morning. After keeping my cat for a week, I am happy to report my cat came home and can breathe comfortably and normally again thanks to Dr. Goldsmith! My cat had a major infection in his throat and lungs not asthma and with the proper diagnosis and proper medication my cat is on the road to recovery. This is the best veterinarian I have been to and am so very grateful my furry family member got the best treatment possible. I would also like to say that an entire week hospital stay including IV, meds, scope, culture, X-Rays, treatment and care at Park Vet Clinic was less expensive then two in and out visits to Red Bank who misdiagnosed the condition. Thank you Dr. Goldsmith, Linda, Kaitlyn and Terry for taking such great care of Pumpkin and for all your follow up phone calls!!!

Our family has worked with Park Vet for decades--cats and more recently rabbits. Not only is the care excellent, but they really go way out of their way to help. Example--last night my daughter was very concerned when she noticed that one of her rabbits had lost a lot of weight. She called the answering service after hours and requested an appointment for the next day. The doctor called her back almost immediately and helped her figure out what was going on (the other rabbit was stealing his food) and how to deal with the situation. Wonderful! Another example from many years ago: our house cat "escaped" and got into a fight with something, sustaining a wound. Unfortunately, because of family illness we had gotten distracted enough that the cat's rabies vaccine was out of date. Several vets said that there was no choice but to put the cat down. Dr. Goldsmith gave him a booster and the offer of 6 months of boarding quarantine (required) at an enormous discount. Six months later, Misha came home to some very happy children--children who had been visiting him in "the hospital" for those 6 months and cheering him on. That cat lived to 19 years and was an important part of our family for that whole time. As a postscript, at 19, his kidneys were failing. Dr. Goldsmith helped us set up a dialysis routine we could do at home for a few dollars a day. My youngest son and I did that twice a day for many months--keeping him comfortable and cementing the bond between cat and child. That child learned a lot about life and himself during that period; something we would have lost if we had done everything "by the book".
