Today I took my cat to Banfield because she had an infected cut on her tail. They brought us in to the exam room right away. The triage nurse took a good long look at my cat and then explained it to the vet, who came out and took another thorough look, then explained a number of medication options to me, along with prices. All of the prices seemed fair and affordable. I was able to pick the best treatment for my cat and then the nurse explained exactly how to give her the medicine, etc. All of the staff that I encountered were friendly and knowledgable. The exam rooms were clean and modern. The prices are fair. What more could you want? This is a perfect vet and I am so happy to have found them.

Our puppy got severely sick three days after visiting a Banfield vet. I am convinced that Banfield is responsible for our puppy getting sick as the nurses were allowing all the dogs to lick them. You would think that since this is a vets office you'd want sanitary conditions and not possible cross contamination. We had to go to another vet 3 days after seeing the one at Banfield. So we spent hundreds of dollars due to Banfield not being sanitary. Also, the "Wellness Plans" are scam. Do not let them trick you into the annual contracts with their incredibly marked up prices on procedures and meds. Normal prices are often 50-70% less then they want you to believe they are. I have been trying to work with the manager (Joan?) at this location (Middletown, NJ) to get out of the Wellness Plan, as we will never bring another pet here again. A partial refund would be nice too, since we've spent hundreds due to them. So far they have been less than helpful each time we spoke. They only seem to care about money, and nothing else. Go to another place! Save your pet from potentially getting ill from their unsanitary conditions, and save yourself A LOT of money by not signing up for the scam the "Wellness Plan"
