The staff is soooo sweet! Dr Tsakiris is knowledgable and extremely sweet. I trust her with my dog and know that she's always reliable!

Fantastic personalized service that is affordable. Dr. Tsakiris has used acupuncture and holistic medicine to treat my dogs with amazing results. Dr. Smith has preformed routine procedures and teeth cleanings for my dogs for the past decade. The office staff is caring and receptive to the needs of pet parents.

Dr. Smith saved my kitten. She was showing very obvious signs of illness (vomiting, loss of appetite, lethargy) and Dr. Smith was able to pinpoint the problem in seconds (and just an examination, no expensive diagnostics) and gave me hope during a time I felt it was nearly inevitable that I was going to lose my precious kitten. I had taken her to a different hospital the day before, where they tried to charge me hundreds of dollars in diagnostic tests which wouldn't have even identified the actual problem. I could not be more satisfied with the service at Long Branch Animal Hospital. I feel that the staff at this animal hospital is truly professional and that they really do have the best interest of your pet in mind.

Dr. Smith has a wealth of experience and diagnosed my dog's walking problem within seconds of seeing him (disc problem), which he said were common in this breed. The dog was in severe pain, but now is healing comfortably. The visit (including drugs) cost $100. If I had taken the dog to Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, I'm certain they would have ordered a battery of tests and I would have left $1000 poorer. I once took the dog to Red Bank because he was in pain, and they gave him every test known to man, X-rays, the works. It cost $450 to get a diagnosis of indigestion and a recommendation to give him a Tums. If money is no object, Red Bank will take all your money. Dr. Smith knows animals and isn't trying to get a mansion in Rumson. I'd trust Dr. Smith everytime over the Red Bank pickpockets, who would have called in a neurologist, virologist, and psychologist without even telling me I was about to go bankrupt.

I took my 11 week old dog to Dr. Smith and he diagnosed him with Giardia within minutes and gave him medication for it. A full week later and no improvement I called a different vet which told me to please bring him in right away. My dog never had Giardia, but instead an infection in his colon which needed three medications. This vet I went to also informed me that even if my dog did have Giardia it wouldn't have improved with Dr. Smiths medication he prescribed because he gave me the wrong dosage, and even spelled the medication wrong on the bottle. My dog is making a great recovery now but his condition would have been better faster had I never taken him to Dr. Smith in the first place.
