I have never hugged a veterinarian, until now. Dr James Clinton beautifully performed two procedures on my sweet (and forever fearful) cat, Nimbus and we've seen more than just an improvement in his eyes, but his whole personality. Nimbus was a Sandy refugee who sulked and never played much. He had chronic eye issues and ultimately developed a malignant carcinoma around his eye. Dr. Clinton explained the condition, the procedure and his prognosis with clarity and patiently bore all my questions. The surgery was a success and he was recently pronounced cancer free. Nimbus's second procedure was entropic eye surgery (lower eyelids were turning inward and rubbing against his cornea causing great discomfort) and unrelated to the first. Again, Dr. Clinton did an outstanding job with collagen stitches that would be absorbed in the tissue. With every visit or nervous phone call, Dr, Clinton was compassionate, knowledgeable and very professional, and of course very gentle handling my "scaredy cat". I would recommend him and his wonderful staff to anyone whose pet has eye issues. Today, I have a more confident, outgoing cat who plays like a maniac almost every day with his tail held high. The happiest I've seen him in the 2 years we've had him and I owe it to Dr. Clinton.
