I love Windsong Pet Healing. This veterinarian clinic is so NOT ordinary. Dr. Stryeski is very knowledgeable as far as both traditional and Eastern medicine. She has a wonderful and compassionate staff and she uses what she feels are the most appropriate tools whether it be acupuncture, diet, prescriptions... My dog Logan is a huge fan and he gets very excited to make a visit. There is no need for coaxing to go in the door, he is anxious to say hello! Logan is 5 months seizure free (knock on wood) under Dr. S's care. Hoping for continued success.
We have had a very positive experience at Windsong. The entire staff is warm, friendly, patient and kind. The atmosphere is quiet and calming which is important because both my dogs get stressed during vet visits. We never encounter other dogs in the waiting room, like you might at a large veterinary practice, which again is helpful for a stressed dog. Dr. Stryeski successfully transitioned my dog off of Proin and onto herbs for incontinence and also made some changes to my dog's diet and the results have been wonderful. We are so happy we found Windsong and highly recommend this veterinary practice.
Windsong has a friendly at home atmosphere, my dog loves the leather coaches she makes herself right at home. Dr. Stryeski and Staff are very knowledgable of Huskies. I travel 45 minutes and will continue to following them.
It is rare that you come across someone who is doing what they are meant to do, and still loving it after being in their respective field for some time. Dr. S. and her staff are the absolute best you will find anywhere. If you have any hesitation about coming to this facility I urge you to come one time and see for yourself the difference from the over-booked run-of-the-mill vets you will find elsewhere. I arrived a few minutes early and Dr. S. and her staff were waiting...for me! They still allowed my husky time to go outside on the beautiful grass and take care of business before coming back in and having our visit. After a thorough exam, Dr. S. checked a mass that had appeared on my dog's body. Another vet wanted to laser it off, but Dr.S. checked it out and it turned out to be only a fatty cyst. That savings alone more than paid for my entire visit! The new atmosphere is beautiful. The space is upscale, but warm and inviting. The staff is honestly there to help and add more humanity to a visit to a vet than I ever thought possible. I travel nearly an hour to Windsong and will continue to do so while I have pets. My only hope is that one day Dr. S. and her staff branch out into human medicine, so I have a doctor I trust as much as my vet! Thank you, Windsong, for doing all that you do!
