Dr. Doolen and his tech Steve really were wonderful the whole time with taking the best care of our rabbit when she needed surgery. I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in the best hands with a really great team. Did not find the pricing to be unreasonable for her surgery. They really did save her life and our family could not be more grateful. I would highly recommend Dr. Doolen to anyone with an exotic pet.

I bring my rabbit here often as she is getting older and problems seem to be occurring more frequently. Our normal vet is very good however on one of our more recent visits we had met with a vet who obviously lacked his same experience. She told us about a problem (a small dent in our rabbits eye). We weren't sure if it was there before, supposed to be there, or not. She however didn't know what it was either. We then made an appointment to see our regular vet who said it is a ulcer. Since we had to make an appointment to have our pet reevaluated we didn't feel we should have to pay for the first visit which solved none of our prior concerns or this new concern. After talking to one of the managers we were told that she would get back to us right away. This was about a week ago. Long story short, some vets here are very good, some not so go, but don't count on any form of good customer service. The girls on the phone are usually quite rude and pushy, and the managers just really don't care about you or your pet.

I hate this place. I took my cat here once and I'll never do that again. The staff is flat out rude. One of the girls farted while I was trying to explain why I was there and then proceeded to laugh about it! How unprofessional. My cat hated it here too. Nobody should take animals here.

The staff is excellent and I am glad they are open 24/7 but we waited 45 minutes to be billed for a 15 minute visit. $$$$

I always get a sense that nobody here really cares about animals. I watched a lady come in with a emergency cat which was hit by a car, and it the girls at the front desk were to busy talking to call for a triage. At one point the woman actually had to say, "The cat is still alive you know". Even now I am waiting for them to call me back about a prescription for my rabbit whom has a recurring ear infection. The girl at the desk was especially rude this time around which is what prompted my review. The front desk is probably one of the biggest problems here. The girls are very rushy and rude over the phone. They never seem to be that busy when we are there, however when people call they act like they are just rushing out the door. I do trust my vet as he has been very good with my rabbit. I think his assistant is very good also "Steven" whom seems to really enjoy working with animals. Now I will say this, they are my only vet atm because Dr. Doolen is very good at what he does. While I don't actually think they deserve 1 star, I'm giving them this to balance out the fact that everytime they save a dog they get 5 stars even though price, attitude, and wait time for your scheduled appointment dictates they really do not deserve 5 stars by any means. Hopefully they will prompt change in these areas and stop being a money pit. You can charge whatever you want, but your employees better be happy, on time, and more helpful if I'm going to pay it.
