This was my third time bringing my Dog to this place he needs to be sedated to get groomed and we pay over $300 for this service, this last time BARBARA (the groomer) did an awful job on his head all chopped off and long hairs all over, we called her to see if she could fix it and her answer was " cut it yourself with scissors " and more excuses after that, to call the doctor and the clinic blah, blah blah. I called the clinic and the doctor said to bring him so Barbara would probably fix it and if she didn't want to we would have to find a different place to get him groomed because they were 2 separate business all excuses ... they just want to take your money that's all . I would never take my pet there again worst customer service ever !!!! BARBARA IS THE WORST !!!!

Interesting looking place. Large old purple victorian home. That helps it stand out because you can easily drive pass. I brought my dog here for the first time and the application process was painless which was nice and I was seen shortly thereafter. My biggest qualm was the vet. I tried talking to her about my pet and everything I mentioned she would tell me make it into a health issue that needed to be resolved. Some without merit. For example, when I mentioned that my dog got hit by a car over 10 years ago, she said that he should probably get surgery and that he probably has arthritis now. All this without even checking on him plus he didn't show any symptoms. Worse part is that when I told her I didn't think it was necessary, she said something like "your dog feels pain but is unable to tell you". WOW. Way to guilt someone without doing a full check up. Not cool. Vet came across as greedy and not genuine. Something funny: behind the receptionist desk there is a large sign that says "Be Nice or Leave". I should've taken that as a warning of their customer satisfaction.

I live about half an hour away and I always prefer to bring my dog here. Only doctor who gets real results and gives you answers that make sense. She is always willing to explain and educate you on what's going on and why. Never overmedicates my dog and never tries to oversell any products. Trustworthy place for great animal healthcare.

My dog came to EVC in complete liver failure in the summer of 2009. Dr. Tucker and her staff went to work on her like a scene from an Emergency Room. All options were considered and put into effect. I am thrilled to say that in 2013, my Tattoo's liver values as that of a normal dog. It is nothing short of a miracle. I am forever greatful to Dr. Tucker and her staff. They are truely my angels!
