We tool our 8 year old Pomeranian to Dr. Chalfant after a recommendation from a friend of a friend. We knew her teeth were in need of a dental again, despite her getting one the previous year. What we did not know, is that apparently our former vet did not perform x-rays, so there were rotting teeth left in our dog's mouth! Dr. Chalfant DID take x-rays, and consulted with us using the x-rays to help us determine the teeth that should be removed. She was not in the least pushy in either direction, to either keep or remove teeth, and let us determine the best course of action after we had heard the facts and her recommendations. Low and behold, after the necessary teeth were removed, our pomeranian did not have any more seizures, which she had suffered from once per month for many years! This is truly a miracle!
