I brought my cat in immediately after he ate lily leaves, which are very toxic. PAH saved him, which I am eternally grateful. However, if I had not carefully checked the bill, I would have been overcharged about $200. I was double charged for hospitalization and administration of medications. I understand you have to make a profit, just like any business but please don't gouge pet owners who love their pets like family members. You must have become vets because you wanted to help animals. I firmly believe there wouldn't be so many dogs and cats in shelters if the cost of vets wasn't so expensive.
