Awesome customer service!!! My 2 Year old Labradoodle was having vomiting issues. We made an appointment with Dr. Elliot She was amazing. she was very hands on and communicated with me every step of the way. Here is where I was really impressed, She ( not the assistant) called me at home the next couple of days to check on the status of my dog. I really appreciated the concern and the great customer service. The medicine worked and my dog is back or his normal self. Dr Elliot and Sandia Animal clinic made a client for life.

I love this vet clinic. A year ago I almost put my cat down after two other vet's poor advice, but then I took my cat to Dr. Connely at Sandia and she saved her. She knew exactly what to do, and it was something neither vet before had even mentioned. She went out of her way to help me. The vet clinic itself is very reasonable in price, and it's easy to get an appointment. The receptionist is also extremely nice and helpful. I have been going here for 5 years now and wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've been using Sandia Animal Clinic, and Dr. Robert Cudney has been our vet since ~1978. It is now 2014. My experiences have been good. Dr. Cudney is an excellent vet surgeon, and I've never had any trouble with him or with his bills. (Vets have to live, too!) Now, Dr. Consuelo Conley who is recently out of vet school, is in this clinic. She is personable, capable, recently trained, and devoted to the animals and in my experience knowledgeable with the most current vet practices and surgeries. I am very pleased with all of the vets Dr. Cudney has had in his practice. True, the waiting room is small and probably not the best, but no matter. It's always clean and neat, and I just care that my pets get the best treatment. Dr. Cudney and Dr. Conley both have returned my calls promptly and been comfortable explaining things to me. This clinic is the typical 'worst kind.' They over charge you , lead you astray towards services and medications that are unnecessary. And after they did all that for me, they managed to make me feel bad about walking in (it was an emergency at 1115am, with NO ONE waiting and someone schedule 20 minutes later). Turned out my dog had simple kennel cough, but the vet managed to make that cost over $400 without even batting an eyelash. They even convinced me to buy MORE of the unnecessary medicine for my other dog, b/c she has been exposed to 'whatever it is.' They didn't even know! Yet they were sure I needed two bottles of $100 medicine. My vet-tech friend came over that night, confirmed it was simple kennel cough, and told me to come to the Humane Society the next day. I did, spent $40, and sure enough, the dog got better. Shame on Sandia Vet for their treatment of me and their unabashed willingness to separate a fool and his money.

After having visited several vets over the years, a friend referred me to Sandia Animal Clinic. Dr. Horn and Dr. Cudney are both top-notch vets who really, truly care about these animals. I have been to so many vets who cared more about pushing pet insurance on me than caring for my pets...not so at Sandia Animal Clinic. The prices are fair and the care is exceptional. I will not go anywhere else.
