Horrible! Be careful-its all great and civil until you question their practices. I questioned why my young healthy dog would need antibiotics after her spay and if I have the right to refuse the antibiotics and Vetco refused to do the surgery! Makes a person wonder what is going on behind the scenes that would require them to determine the dog needs antibiotics before they even do the surgery. Bad surgical practices or are they inflating the bill. Why did they react so excessively...

to the front desk person: i am sorry you hate your job. you can try to be a little polite or even slightly helpful or compassionate. just because your clients have low incomes and are forced to bring their beloved companions here for shots and surgeries, you don't have to be such a jerk. i am canceling my appointment for shots and spay surgery because i simply do not trust that you are competent enough or caring enough to do a good job. i'll take my chances elsewhere. very sad.

I took my dog in to get her checked and found the front receptionist rude. Sorry you hate your job but the people who come into your clinic love their animals and need help. I came in the morning with my dog with no one there and she said my dog couldn't be checked until 2:30. The receptionist wasn't the least bit interested in hearing what I had to say. She pretty much dismissed me and went on to her business. I doubt I am one of the "few" this woman has been rude to but just to forewarn anyone who takes their animals there for other then just shots, it's not a good location to go to.

Even though I was there before they were closed, they were unable to provide vaccinations despite that I had called a couple hours before to make sure that I could get a shot if I came in before 5:30.

We have a crazy lab mutt. We went to another vet who couldn't examine her. Vetco is much better :) -- and good prices too.
