we were treated very well, the clinic is beautiful and clean. The staff very nice and caring, I expected to pay and luckily I had a couple good days at work. I am just grateful they are close by, open all the time and have caring, doctors on staff. My dog was fine, but I didn't know that, I had all the blood work done and now have a baseline for her ongoing care. ( hope there isn't much ) I don't know what people do if they don't have the money. must be awful. The doctor was thorough, caring, conscientious, and capable. I'm just glad someone is open 24 hours. It took a long time, but I expect to wait.

THERE is NO REAL ER in this #%&! town, they send you to this ER Sta Fe ER clinic....that basically expects your dog to be OUT in the AM because they are closed!! Regardless of their condition!!! s like a night care ONLY, they do not keep your pet under any circumstances during the day even if your dog is dying!! How ^#%$*& is that?? This so called 'transfer' to my regular vet, this precious time caused my dog to die, right there when she was being removed from the oxygen to transfer her back to VCA in Santa FE!! WTF??? She had to be put to sleep right there when she was removed as we cried and screamed looking at our helpless dog dying for lack of good ER and vet care.. this town is vet hell. WHY did VCA in Sta Fe did not see my dog on Sat? knowing that it was an emergency why the ER in Santa Fe, throws patients out in the AM? What kind of town is this????

Emergency situations with pets are extremely stressful, but I was so thankful to find this emergency clinic. The waiting room was clean and inviting, and they brought my cat in right away. Each staff member was extremely professional and compassionate as they explained every step of the process. The price estimate was accurate. I could rest assured that my pet was in good hands while being treated overnight. I highly recommend this clinic and am very impressed with the professional, skilled services they provide. I cannot say enough good things about this clinic!

I just had two pets use this facility in the last month, both a dog and a kitten. Both were gravely ill and both were saved by the excellent staff of doctors and techs at this clinic. I spent a few hours in the back with my dog who was not expected to live, and was able to see first hand the caring and skilled professionalism of the people and the extensive life-saving and monitoring equipment they are able to bring to bear on any problem that comes up. Very impressive. They also obviously can attract the best talent to work there. I'm so glad that they are now open 24 hours a day, and I will rest even easier now knowing that they are always available should something happen in the future. Although I know that they can't save every pet, I am grateful and thankful that they saved mine.

I took my dog to this vet after me and my husband came home and found him covered in blood. We took him inside our house first and got him cleaned up thinking that maybe some of the blood was the other dogs. After we washed him, we found out that all the blood was his and that he was still bleeding. He had been attacked by a couple other dogs and was severely injured. He had numerous puncture wounds and one wound that looked like a bullet hole and was bleeding a lot. We rushed him to the vet. We got there and immediately, the receptionist asked us how much we were willing to pay. I told him I didn't have any money at the time and asked if we could do a payment plan. His answer was absolutely not and he pointed to the sign that said "Payment is due at time of service." I told him that my mother has a care credit card and he said he would take the card number over the phone. While we are having this discussion, my dog is still laying on their floor, hasn't even been looked at and the man hasn't even asked what happened to him or why we were there. He had me fill out some paperwork and then the waiting began. We were there for close to 3 hours just waiting. Nobody had even come out to look at him or see what was going on. When I told the receptionist that we were going to take our dog to the other Evet in town he immediately rushed back and grabbed a doctor. My dog was laying on the floor because he couldn't walk very well or get up or down very easily. The doctor comes out and starts yelling at my dog to come with her, but he couldn't move. Instead of helping him up, she started clapping in his face trying to get him to move faster. We told her to forget it and that we were leaving and she got really mean. With a "oh, your dog is sick and you are just going to leave?" attitude. The people there are rude, inconsiderate, and money hungry. They didn't even care about my dog. They just wanted a bigger paycheck.
