We had just moved to Carson city and took our dog there for an allergy shot. The shot was about $5 but they charged $30 just to administer the shot, plus exam, etc.. I thought they were joking, but they weren't, and also the vet seemed to be very arrogant. I've never heard of a separate charge to administer any shot. I will never go back there for sure.

Staff here create a good environment for fur babies. Very clean as well

DO NOT USE THIS VET! These people are disorganized, dishonest, and frankly, disgusting. This has got to be the worst vet in Carson City. My puppy is 6 months old, now, and I was told, on multiple occasions, that he received all of his necessary vaccinations. However, after getting "all" of his vaccinations, he came down with parvo, and was hospitalized for 6 days. Not only that, but I just learned, today, that I can't kennel him because he hasn't received his Bordatella shots WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO BE ADMINISTRATED AT 12 WEEKS OLD. So, either they did not schedule him for proper vaccinations (which every other vet on the planet would do), or, they simply lost his paperwork. I am disgusted with this service and reccomend that you take your puppy to a vet in Mexico before considering using V&T Pet Clinic.

Not sure who the other people saw at V&T but Dr. Myers is great. He has seen our dog since he worked over at Lone Mountain and the reason he left Lone Mountain was because they were beginning to charge to much. Dr. Myer is one of those rare vets that when he can tell you animal is uncomfortable he will sit down and just calmly talk with them/you to ensure they are comfortable before he begins the exam. Service was quick and efficient within their office and we have had multiple friends and relatives tell us that they have switched from their primary Vet to V&T's services. Have and would definitely recommend them to other potential clients and DEFINITELY recommend Dr. Myer if he is available.

I did not even make it in to see this rude man. I called 6 local vets to get an estimate on what they charge to examine my dog fro possible gum infection. All vets were able to give me a basic high/low quote, except forthis guy. When I called he kept cutting me short then I would have to repeat my question. Then he talked to me like I was crazy for asking him how much he charges. When he was frustrated enough he quoted almost $200 "LOW BALL" more than other vets. When he perceived that I wasn't going to take his services, he hung up on me. Why did I even call him? He misdiagnosed my dad's cat 2 years ago with "fleas" (which is very uncommon in NV) after the cat had already begun to spread ringworm. I had to find out the true diagnosis after paying for a visit to my doctor for my ringworm. this vet did not even offer to compensate the REAL diagnosis after he screwed upand allowed the family to get ringworm. Forget this guy!
