Legacy has provided excellent service in the medical care, treatment, and advise concerning my three cats. One of the three recently required ER service after having been attacked by another cat. I am especially grateful for their immediate attention in that unfortunate situation.

I am involved animal rescue and I have been taking my pets to Dr, Costa since 2002 She is the best in town! Dr. Costa, Dr. Muratore and the staff at Legacy Animal Hospital are fantastic. They treat my pets (all 7 of them - 4 dogs & 3 cats) like they were their own and I completely trust their judgement and opinions. Everyone there is always accommodating and helpful. They are also great at giving me options to help me save money, while offering the best health care for my pets.

My experience started when I moved here 1 year ago, driving my 3 dogs across country. The first thing I did was to find a Vet. Unfortunately, it wasn't Legacy Animal Hospital. It was one of the many "owned" animal hospitals. New Vets every few weeks, medicine had to be "ordered" and took days to arrive. Totally unacceptable to me. My 140# dog became seriously ill. The Vet I was using literally had no clue. I brought him to Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center where sadly, he was immediately diagnosed with agressive bladder cancer. I lost him within a month. The only silver lining was that I asked my Vet there, Dr. Lyon, to PLEASE recommend a Vet for my other 2 dogs and cat. My Pit Bull has Cushings and needs constant monitoring. His suggestion was Dr. Muratore at Legacy. I met him and knew this was the type of Animal Hospital I was accustomed to in NY; Vet owned and not a revolving door for staff. Again, sadness stuck when my cat's thyroid condition became worse and I had to let him go. Then, my Lab/Pit had serious medical problems and he too, passed. Through it all, the ENTIRE staff has been so kind. From the front desk to the Vet Techs to the people behind the scenes, I appreciated their true understanding of my connection to my animals. Dr. Costa is also terrific; she did necessary minor surgery on my senior Pit Bull and I didn't worry for a moment that she would be okay. Their prices are very fair and I HIGHLY recommend them.

I recommend Legacy Animal Hospital to my friends and they have never been disappointed. Dr. Muratore and Dr. Costa truly care about the well being of my pets. They have a "way" with animals - from our 100+ pound white shepherd to our pampered cat. Their concern also extends to the owners as well. The staff shared their memories and tears when we had to put our shepherd out of her pain from cancer.

I love this place. The staff is wonderful and polite friendly. Dr. Muratory - Hands down the best. Ive been going here for over 2 years. I moved out of the area but I still make the drive to go there. Wouldn't go any place else.
