Took my Wheaton Terrier to Park Animal Hospital because she was having trouble with something she swallowed. The front office staff were friendly and professional. Dr. C diagnosed my dog right away with a stick lodged in her palette. I was impressed with Dr. C. He's honest, knowledable and very personable. You can tell he cares about his clients and their pets by the amount of time he takes to explain procedures. He took great care with my dog at a reasonable cost. I definitely would recommend Park Animal Hospital. Trustworthy and caring!

This place is great! My wife and I have been taking our Shih Tzu here for about 2 years now, ever since we moved to Henderson. The staff and the Vets are FANTASTIC! They take care of him like he is family and they truly care abouot how he is and his well being. We can also get him groomed after he is done with the Vet, and the groomers are awesome. He went to numerous other groomers before we found Park, and he would not be nice to them. When we come here, he actually pulls me to get to the groomers! I wish I would have known about this place sooner because we would have driven across town to come here. Highly Recommend!

About a month after getting my (first) bearded dragon, he started becoming lethargic (at my own fault) so we rushed him to Park as they were the only place who could take him that day (luckily we're literally a mile down the street). The nurses at the desk were so friendly, and the doctor (i dont remember the name, just it was a male) was very thorough with his questions (in my opinion). I was honest with the doctor that I'd been lacking on giving my beardie calcium, but I do mean to take proper care of him. They kept him for 3-4 days, and didn't do a full charge for "boarding", or even an office visit fee. Only for the medicine and boarding for 2 days ( so potential $120 bill was only $52) The staff loved my beardie, and 8 months later when we took our new dog to get checked out (we haven't been there since the lizard visit), they remembered us and asked how my beardie was doing. We've been using Spencer Springs for about 15 years, but it's just too expensive and the new vets there aren't as nice as Dr. Hicks was (We'd still use them if Dr. Hicks was the main vet), so we were scared about switching our animals to Park Animal, but so far we've had no problems with them! I've heard they like to nickel and dime for everything, but we've still yet to run into that problem.

Great Staff & Doctors who take the time to educate and discuss our pet needs. Very fair price for the fantastic care.

Overall my experience at this vet was not impressive. Dr. Cacioppo showed himself not to be competent at diagnosing what a second (and correct) opinion found to be obvious. I often felt that I was being pushed into expensive and unnecessary procedures. Dr. Cacioppo would become irritated if his advice was not followed. I switched my care to the Vet Referral center and found that that his advice and diagnoses had been incorrect. I would not recommend this vet to anyone. P.S. the front desk staff and the vet assistants were always friendly and professional.
