Moved here in 2013 from Colorado.My best friend companion could NOT take the cold any longer.He seemed to thrive under the warmer temps and blue skies.My groomer recommended Haven and I was THRILLED!!Altho Bishop was a senior pup he was ALWAYS treated with a gentle touch,compassion and love--he loved the people (they always treat me in the same manner) At the ripe young age of 13 he had become blind,deaf and could no longer walk--with the heaviest heart all animal lovers have it was time to go to Rainbow Bridge--broken hearted my son,Bishop and I went for our last ride--The agony is real (healing takes such a long time). June 24th 2014 the staff at Haven could NOT have been more loving,tender and compassionate--the attendant that gave him his 'relax shot' took him ever so gently from me--Bishop could not hear me tell him how much I love him but he COULD FEEL

I can't say enough great things about Dr Mauro, her staff and clinic. I brought my dog in for a routine rabies vaccine and Dr Mauro, being the thorough doctor she is, did a physical exam that included an anal gland check. She found a nodule that had to be taken out and biopsied. The result was carcinoma. My dog has an excellent prognosis today because this 'incidental finding' was DETECTED and QUICKLY dealt with. If it weren't for Dr Mauro, the tumor undoubtedly would have been a much bigger issue sometime in the not too distant future. Thank you Dr Mauro, for being comprehensive and committed to excellent pet health care!

Highly Recommend! Haven Animal Hospital has a knowledgeable,caring staff and above and beyond what you would expect at an animal hospital. Dr. Mauro has a very special kindness and gentleness when working with animals. My dog has been a patient there for a couple of years through a wide variety of medical needs. Every experience there has been positive not only in the quality of care but in the fairness of pricing. I could not say enough good things about this place and the outstanding staff. You will get great care for you pet and will not have to worry if you are overpaying. I've met some great Vets in my life....but Dr. Mauro is my all time favorite Vet. I would not go anywhere else.

The entire staff and Dr Mauro is AMAZING!! They always handle my family and my pets with such courtesy and professionalism. They treat all of us like we are family and how they would treat their own pets. The staff always knows whats going on and how to handle each situation. Dr Mauro is just the best with our big pitties down to our little chihuahuas. She will ALWAYS do what is best for the pet, ALWAYS offer you the best of best care that is available. There is NO WAY we would go anywhere else. If you want the personal touch that everyone and their pet deserves, you should definately go to Haven! I recommend everyone I know to go there!

BEWARE OF BAD SERVICE!!! I live in Nevada Trails directly behind this animal clinic and I can't believe how unprofessional and insensitive the front desk treats their clients. I can't imagine what goes on in the back room... I searched google for their telephone number prior to going to Haven Animal Hospital today and read the post by "iluvmypitbulls" and thought this was just one upset client. They are 100% CORRECT!!! That girl Jessica needs to find another line of work. She was insensitive and disrespectful. Previously I took my dog to see Dr. Oliver and she was fantastic, however I was told today that she is NO LONGER with this clinic (I wonder why??). I never met Dr. Mauro but if she allows the front desk to treat their customers like I was just treated then she is either ignorant or directing them to act this way. I will NEVER bring my dogs back and I recommend that you consider any other clinic before you bring your beloved animal to Haven Animal Hospital!
