I love Dr. Paetz and her staff! We have been clients since June 1989 and they have cared for a total of six of dogs and one cat. Dr. Paetz has also treated some of my foster kittens and some strays that I found. When it came time to say goodbye to four of our dogs we were treated with compassion and dignity. I had been seeing Dr. Paetz for about a year for 2 of my pets.I thought the practice was mediocre but not awful.My 18 yr. old cat had to be put down due to kidney failure.She had me wait an hour(we had an appt.) then she just gave him a shot,he was screaming when he died.He had no IV like another cat I had to put down,I guess she wanted to save money.I reported her to the State Board,I will never forget his screams,what was she thinking?? The assistant6 even ran out.

I have been going to this vet for over 3 years now. I have never had any issues. They treat my dogs so great! Their pricing isn't so bad either. :)

I have taken my dog to these folks twice and both experiences where unpleasant. Very rude and condensending staff with little regard for return business or referrals. Come to find out from other pet owners that have tried them that false advertising is a common problem and the care is sub standard, this was my experience as well. There are numerous outstanding vets in the area that deliver far better care and service.

I have taken my dogs and cat here for 5 years. For 3 years I have even taken one of my dogs here every month for allergy shots. The staff is helpful and kind, and the doctors are great. Price wise, Pecos Russell Animal Hospital is much more reasonable than other vets I have been to.
