Great caring staff...wonderful doctors. So glad that Dr. Costa is back! She is one of the best vets around. Love Dr. Bowers and Dr. Larsen too. You know that when you take your beloved fur baby to Spencer Springs they will get the bet possible care and not over charge you! Will never leave them even though it is now 10 miles each way from home! Spencer Springs is worth the drive.

Spencer Springs Animal Hospital has the most caring and experienced staff I've ever encountered at any veterinary clinic. We've been going there for the past 12 years and have had the most amazing experiences. Compassionate staff are there for you and your pet. I've know Dr. Hicks for probably 30+ years; when he was at Carey and Civic Center. When he moved south and built his beautiful "new" clinic I tried other vets closer to me (I-15 & Cheyenne), but had to make the long drive way south to Warm Springs because he is the best: knowledgeable, willing to discuss all options, and reasonable in his charges. Initially, a woman vet dislocated both my dogs back legs and even said "I don't know if I'll be able to get this one back in. " sounds crazy, I know. I'm still shocked. We were then given a quote of 200 dollars. I came back to have some dental and wart work done on my puppy. They called me 3 times while I was at work asking if I wanted teeth removed even though I had said 4-5 times and signed a paper that said I did not want teeth removed. My step dad, who is black and I am white, went to get my dog at 1 as we were promised. They didn't tell him anything, but instead called me again and said my puppy would be ok to get at 4. He goes again at 4, nobody speaks to him for 45 minutes after signing in. He leaves to go get my mom from work. I have to call them at this point, while I'm still at work. Nobody tells me why my dog can not be picked up. I go after work with my parents and when describing how inconvenient this was, a girl at the front desk laughs. It was all a horrible experience. I'm not sure who does their reviews.

Spencer Springs Animal Hospital is excellent! I adopted a Greyhound three years ago (coincidentally named Spencer) and they've boarded and cared for him ever since. They care for him as though he was their own. He has severe separation anxiety (his first human passed away) and when I travel he loses about a pound a day; they took it upon themselves to start feeding him rotisserie chicken every day to keep his weight up...I've not seen this level of caring from any other vet or doggie daycare. In addition their medical expertise is excellent...no matter which vet cares for him I've never had any concerns or issues that they have not addressed professionally and with great expertise. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
