BUYER BEWARE! You will be duped. VCA Nellis Animal Hospital will quote a price and then charge you another. The initial visit is over $50.00 when all other clinics cost between $25.00 - $34.00. They also get over by administering extras to your pet without your permission and charging you for it. Also be prepared to wait forever to be seen, even if the office is empty. They told me the follow up visit would be $26.00 for the basic booster shots. Fine. I was even going to purchase a tiny tooth brush and little packet of doggie toothpaste for the ridiculous price of $8.00. Upon checkout she tells me the bill is $117.00. The audacity!! I refused to pay that much and reminded her of what she said on the phone - that it would only be $26.00. Then she says that the doctor gave my dog a dewormer. I was never given the option to agree or disagree to further treatment. This is a sneaky way to do business. I told her I was NOT happy and that I would be telling my friends about their underhanded practices. I gave her $47.00 and said that I would NOT be coming back. And I told her she could KEEP the tiny toothbrush. What a rip.

I visited this Animal Hospital for my Newly Adopted Pet an 3 year old Chihuahua from the Animal Foundation here in Las Vegas. The Animal Foundation advertised 1 of 3 options which is given to all new owners. One of those options is a Complimentary Wellness Check-up/Exam through the VCA Animal Hospital. They also advertise that your dog or cat will be covered up to 14-days following the initial exam if they have any of the listed medical conditions. This is the Option that the Animal Foundation recommends the most. Sounds good right? But After my first visit I discovered that they had more interest in making Money than for the well being of my pet. After the Exam I was given (estimates) of dental costs up to $600.00 and no treatment for my dog's Coughing and sneezing which could suggest an "Upper Respiratory infection" which is on the list of covered follow-up care. The Advertisement also don't explain that the Diagnostic tests that you need in-order to discover if your Pet has any "Internal parasites", also listed as an Medical Condition on the advertisement as being covered will actually cost you between to $57-60 dollars which I discovered on my 2nd Visit unexpectedly after returning the Fecal sample test that they requested for me to collect. I seen another Doctor during that 2nd visit who finally prescribed her some Medication for her Coughing. It shouldn't have taken 2 visits to accomplish 1 task. And I hate that my valuable time was wasted. Don't get me wrong, I love my pet. And I will do everything necessary to make sure she is healthy. But I refuse to do business with any "business" that tries to tack on hidden fees and go for a money Grab. I will get Pet Insurance and go to a Banfield Hospital instead. I won't be able to take advantage of Their free initial first (exam) and 50% off an Optimum Wellness Membership because I chose the VCA Hospital first. The Diagnostic testing at Banfield is also Covered in your Free Exam. This is obviously the best plan, so why does the Animal Foundation place more emphasis on the VCA Animal Hospitals? Always do your research, and don't blindly trust the advice of any "Organization" no manner how good their cause may be. Also if you adopt through the LVVHS or Nevada SPCA they will place more emphasis on Banfield Hospitals. Know your Options first before Adopting!!! These things are subject to change so always call and ahead for information. It's not about the Money. It's about the Honesty of doing Business. It doesn't manner if you have $1 Million dollars or just $1.00. Always know the best care options available for your pet. I hope my review is helpful! and Good Luck !!

I have been taking all of my furry children to Dr. Lindaman for 11 years now and I absolutely love the care I receive for them. The staff are always so caring and attentive to myself and my pets.

My 4 month old kitten, I received from my mother in law after my miscarriage, was attacked by my neighbors pit bull. He bled to death on my lap. They told me they couldn't help me because I didn't have money to pay $45 for a check on him. Their response to me as they opened the door for me was "I'm sorry". Went to a vet on Tropicana and Eastern. There they told me his spine was broken later that day I had to put him down due to the amount of blood loss. I didn't receive help, a doctor didn't see my kitten either. All they did was gave me a box. -Brittanie

Edit: They refunded in full. Friendly, but friendliness doesn't make up for negligence in saving a dogs life. Our lovely companion of 2 and a half years bled to death there after we paid full price for a C-section during pregnancy. They didn't have canine blood nor did they order during the more than two hours she was being operated. The dog that died upon our arrival should have served as a warning. All but one puppy survived, but he died on the 5 minute trip home.
