The two stars are for the office staff. Elisha is AWESOME and will be in my families prayers for years to come. Our dog got out of our yard, was missing for a day and a half and got hit by a car. Due to my ad on craigslist, and Elisha looking online and finding it, and contacting me, we were able to get him back. Everyone else in the office is great, including the very helpful orderly that helped me get my 80 lb dog with a broken leg in the car. Now, to the reason for only two stars. The doctor we met was the rudest, most accusatory, inhospitable "caregiver" we have ever had the displeasure of meeting. To tell someone that they can give them all of the money they have in their pocket, then we'll "release" your dog to you, but without pain medication, or you can call someone to see if they'll pay half for you and we'll keep him here overnight medicated for his comfort. REALLY?!?!?!?! A veterinarian using the comfort of an animal as leverage to receive payment????? In short, it is a real shame that such a wonderful office staff has to work for such a cruel person. If you care about your animal, take it to someone who cares in Las Vegas, there are plenty of vets that care about animals and their owners.

I've read all the reviews about the place and they were pretty decent.I have shar pei dog and it is important to have a good veterinarian. So I chose to try them. I was their client for half a year and that's what I've seen there: 1. Nobody cares about your pet. All they care about is money. They charge you for every single thing and try to double charge also. 2. Their doctors don't know anything about the breed. And because of that my dog had to had a surgery. And because of them my insurance didn't cover it. 3. They are not helpful and not listen to you. May be it's only my experience but after them I found a wonderful veterinarian pretty fast.

Dr. Yach and his staff at West Flamingo Animal Hospital are the best in Las Vegas. I was first introduced to West Flamingo Animal Hospital about 10 years ago when my black lab, Shadow, was diagnosed with cancer. The entire staff at West Flamingo couldn't have been more compassionate and caring. Since that time I decided any future dogs that were to come into my life would always been seen at West Flamingo. My current dog, Mumbo, couldn't be happier when he boards at West Flamingo. He has separation anxiety and they treat him like "family". They see to his every need. As a puppy Mumbo required in depth leg surgery. Dr. Yach performed the surgery and today thanks to Dr. Yach Mumbo is able to be up and about like any normal dog. In my humble opinion. the only place to take your amimals is West Flamingo Animal Hospital. They are by far the very best in Las Vegas. You will be happy you did. Mary Calzat

Tremendous staff and great doctors. We've been taking our four-legged "kids" there for over 13 years now and wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The staff has always met and often exceeded our expectations. Even when we lost our golden retriever last year (12 years old), their empathy, compassion and caring for everyone affected was extraordinary.

I recently left my vet of 35 years to get hooked up with the doctors at West Flamingo Animal Hospital. I first experienced the great level of customer service of West Flamingo in 2005 when my black lab had cancer and Dr. Macy cured her cancer. He was awesome! His "bedside" manner with the dogs is heartwarming and gives me the confidence to entrust my dogs with them. Then, when my regular vet of 35 years misdiagnosed the cancer in my black lab, left me in a waiting room for over an hour while they all left and went home AND permanently injured my yellow lab during a routine surgey, I knew it was time for a change and I remembered the medical expertise and high level of customer service West Falmingo Animal Hospital provided in 2005, so I changed. They are experts with pets with special needs unlike my previous vet, and West Flamngo's hours of operation really help out since I own my own business and my hours are wild. They are treating my yellow lab for diabetes and they have been great! I am so happy with their services and their fees! I would recommend them to EVERYONE. Take it from someone in Las Vegas who has dogs that needed treatments for cancer, diabetes, blindness, cataracts, ear ticks, deer ticks and heartworm and a dog that is just downright unruly, THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!
