They were quick to act when we walked in the door with our 12 year old Weimaraner who was vomiting blood. The vet had the hard job of telling us that euthanasia was probably the only decision. But all the staff was very caring and made this difficult process a little easier. Thanks so much, and I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs emergency vet care for their furbaby. To the people who complain that they need payment up front: just imagine how many people would try to bolt after their animal has had hundreds of dollars worth of care. These vets and techs have to stay up all night, and they deserve to be paid for their efforts. It's not a charity, but a business. I think the charges were very reasonable and fair for what they did.

Horrible. I called this vet at 4 a.m., because my dog had been sick for days, and had recently excreted a large amount of blood. I called the vet in a panic, and she said they could literally not even let me walk through the door without paying $160. I asked if I could be billed, if I could put a down payment, if I could make payments, anything, they refused. What awful people to care about money before an animal's life. That's horrible business, and I will never call them again.

We brought our Grate Dane-ador in with bloat around midnight last night. Dr. Mark Atkinson performed an emergency surgery on her. We found him and the staff to be professional, caring and supportive during an extremely difficult time for us. We deeply appreciate that they successfully did everything possible to save her.

This place is awesome. First off, I love the fact that the somebody out there knows that pet problems can actually happen after 5:00 pm. I have always thought we needed more of this concept in the world. I'm sorry, but the world does not start at 10:00 am and end at 5:00 pm. In those, "off hours" both people and animals can still get hurt and will still need help. It's actually a full time job ranging 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This place was great. The staff there really impressed me. They were kind, gentle, patient, and knew what they were doing. They handled my pets situation in a professional and honest way. They took him in back, did some tests, and came out with the actual problem. They didn't come out and tack a bunch of other issues onto the case that didn't need to be there like other vets have done. You could tell they were in it for the animals and not for the money. The pricing was fair for the test they did and they were even generous enough to refill my pets medications a week later while we waited for another vet to get himself in order. I will be keeping this place in mind if I ever have need of a vet after 5:00 pm again. I have already recommended them to a few friends and will continue to do so.

Our sweet girl Orion was attacked by another Dog on Thanksgiving eve, and of course we could not get a hold of our regular vet. She was losing blood, and we had no choice but to drive her to Reno. I couldn't believe how busy they were in the middle of the night!! However they got our girl back quickly, and Dr Nelson was so compassionate and caring, and sat on the floor with her, and had such a gentle spirit. I felt very comfortable leaving my baby in his care :) They give you an estimate of the cost of services...one low and one worse case scenario. Even the high was better than I expected being this is a specialty service, and when they came in under the low estimate, I was very pleased. I am grateful for their immediate attention, and professional, compassionate care. I hope I never have to use them again, but at least I know they are there if I do need them! God Bless all of you!!!
