Okay...we're new Nevada residents and really had a hard time accepting the fact that we had to find a new vet. We loved our vet in AZ and our furry kids did too! I read several reviews on local vets and we decided to go to Brinkby. My normally uptight and neurotic boxer didn't even freak out. It may sound strange but the office just had good energy! We didn't even wait 5 minutes and were done within 15! Pros: Located just behind the Peppermill, friendly, reasonably priced, free doggy treats Cons: Parking can be an issue, listening the boarded dogs while waiting for the vet

I was visiting Reno and needed to board my Lab. Despite several pleas over the course of two days, they would not let me see where my dog was being kept. They said their insurance wouldn't allow me to see my dog in his cage. Really? Not even for a peek? What were they hiding? How big was his cage? Was it clean? I don't know... My dog was returned OK, but I won't be returning to any place where I can't see my dog's boarding conditions. Steve

We have gone here for 12+ years! They have an amazing staff who are super friendly and helpful. You'll never catch them in a bad mood.. The doctor is great and has been there since my first dog all the way to our new puppies! He is very realistic and doesn't try to waste your money... A lot of vets with older dogs will suggest surgeries that will really have no effect, this vet is really straight forward. If he doesn't think it's the right thing to do he will tell you! Amazing people :)

Overall okay vet. I took my dog to this vet for about 3 years, and generally liked it. However, I must admit, due to my job and school schedule I was inconsistent. I canceled two appointments with notice, and no-called ONCE. When I called to schedule they told me I had no-called five appointments and canceled "several" others. This is a lie. Before I called, I was expecting to be asked to leave my CC info on file or something similar, but was shocked when they blatantly lied. Perhaps if they had a computer, and no longer used paper documentation they would have more accurate information. I decided to take my business elsewhere. Pros: Inexpensive. Cons: Very small (I'm surprised they board. I imagine stacked crates), Poor parking.
