This place is wonderful. I wanted to write this review particularly because of the negative review regarding an unpaid bill and being refused service. Having taken all of our family dogs here for years when my husband and I got out first dog as a couple we went here for her care. We live an hour away and find it is worth the drive time for Dr. Grinsell or Dr. Sara's care. Our puppy was a 6 month old rescue. After about 18 hours of having her we realized we had been mislead by the rescue we adopted her from and she was very sick. We got her into see Dr. Grinsell that day who did a thorough check of her and immediately put her on antibiotics seeing she had an infection. This became a long battle of figuring out what her infection was as it was incredibly severe. After a couple of overnight stays, several office visits and a necessary exploratory surgery we had a $2,000 bill, but a now healthy and happy dog. Dr. Grinsell & office staff happily accepted payments whenever we could make them. It took us at least 5 months to pay off a bit hear and there, but in the mean time they NEVER refused us service. I also want to praise Dr. Grinsell and his assistant Naomi for being incredibly patient and caring 4 months before all of that when our 10 year old Husky was dying. They did everything they could to extend his life comfortably. Dr. Grinsell could not have made himself any more available for questions and concerns and was kind enough to take my tearful sobbing phone call knowing it was time to put our dog down, but I just needed to hear him say the fight was over. They can be pricey, but it is worth it for a healthy pet and a vet and staff who care.
