We've relied on Baring as our "first choice" vet for 15 years. We've used other vets occasionally, but keep coming back to Baring because the vets are highly trained, experienced, and caring. And consistently so. We're lucky to have this kind of vet hospital in the area. We've used them for normal care of our dogs and cats, for acupuncture (works amazingly well for specific ailments), surgeries, and end-of-life care. The staff is wonderful, the doc's high-end (especially Dr Baker), and they work with you and with your pet in a modern holistic way. I just wish I could find a human doc with this level of attention to caring, focused, practical modern care...

IF I COULD GIVE THEM 0 STARS I WOULD. THIS PLACE IS A COMPLETE CASH GRAB! DR. LUCHETTI KEPT TRYING TO KEEP MY CAT THERE AND KEEP USING METHODS THAT "TAKE 24 HOURS TO SEE IF THERE'S A DIFFERENCE." HIS TERRIBLE SERVICE AND GREEDY WAYS CAUSED US TO PUT DOWN OUR CAT! TERRIBLE PLACE, GO ELSEWHERE!

I came home from work one night and found my dog Kiki listless and laying in her own vomit in the backyard. I immediatly loaded her up in my truck and began calling around to veterinary clinics. Being as it was 20 minutes to most vet closing times I got a lot of snotty receptionist telling me that they would be closing soon so I might as well go somewhere else... Even though I'm describing my dog as dying in my back seat these places basically told me not to come in because "they were almost closed" DISGUSTED! Luckily one of the vets recommened calling Baring, and thank god they did! The receptionist told me to head there immediatly and that she would let the staff know I was coming! When I arrived, there was assistants waiting with a stretcher and when they took her back I saw that they already had a table set up with emergency supplies waiting as well! The front staff was very nice and made me a cup of cider while I waited for the Doctor to speak with me. Turns out Kiki had ingested some sort of toxin but luckily I got her there just in time! THANK YOU THANK YOU Baring! Because in your field closing shouldn't always mean closing when there's a pet in need!!

I understand that people could have had a bad experience at any number of vets in the area but to call Dr. Luchetti greedy and saying that he gives poor service really makes me upset. I have taken my pets to Tony since he came to Baring Blvd. Vets and have never had anything less than superior service from him. He has spend as much time as I needed to make a decision many times and never rushed us out of the room. At one point I had a greyhound/doberman that developed a brain tumor and we spent hours going over the treatment options and outcomes and he led me every step of the way. If he were greedy he would have shamed me into expensive treatments that were above my financial ability. We finally got down to the eventual outcome and we decided to just make him comfortable while he lived out his life. Instead of "about 30 days" I was able to keep my dog for 7 months. Being a petsitter in the area for over 10 years I have had many occasions to visit the hospital and have NEVER heard of a bad experience.

I recently shadowed one of Baring Boulevard's doctors as an eager to learn veterinary medicine student. I can honestly say that the experience was wonderful and I learned so much about the occupation that only made me more interested in pursuing my dream. The staff was super caring towards all the animals that came through. Everyone worked together to help not only the animals, but the owners as well. I definitely plan on bringing my pets here if I have any issues from this point on. Thank you so much Baring Boulevard Hospital, Dr. Davidson and everyone else that made this experience one to remember.
