I went in because my cat recently got out of the house and came back with all her back claws missing. so i wanted to get a cleaner and make sure they werent infected. Doctor came in went straight to the computer, didnt say as much as a hi, while reading she was asking me questions about my cat her her claws...and im like shes right behind you why dont you look. anyway at the end of the visit she said she wanted to clip her nails becasue the were split so they dont become worse. so i said ok. i got her home and looked at her front claws to my sickening disbelief they cut her front claws (which where perfectly fine) down so low they looked as bad as the back ones, and one of them was even bleeding. I felt so bad for taking my cat here. I would never ever go back ever. PS she said she didnt need a cleaner for her nails...but yet she said one was infected.
I used to love right around the corner and found this gem of an office. The most polite staff, considerate doctors, and friendly pets! I moved quite a distance away and I still drive from Queens to come here. The staff is simply amazing!
The vet was approachable, listened and informed. The staff was attentive. The bill was modest! My cat was, well... my cat always hates the vet. Highly Recommended!
I have a 6-month year old puppy and have been in the office probably 6 or 7 times for shots and other common puppy problems like diarrhea. One of the disappointing things is that I have only seen Dr. Diaz once who is great and probably the only reason worth going here. I often question A LOT of what gets put onto the bill and often feel that my concern and love for my dog is taken advantage of because I end up agreeing to medicines that I know are unnecessary. I've worked in retail and am very familiar with up-selling. Also, I know they see a lot of people and animals, but they never seem remember me or my dog in the 6 or 7 times in the last 3 months we've been going there. I know a vet clinic is a business, and understand that they are there for a paycheck, but I don't think you should feel that way. All and all, they get the job done, but I have higher expectations from a vet. I'm currently looking for another vet to have a better frame of reference.
