I have been taking my cat and dog to The County Vet for four or five years. All of the Vets are really nice and caring. The staff is excellent, they are always nice and efficient. They do a great job at keeping the care affordable-this is really important because you dont have to make decisions on treatment based on cost!

Not the best experience,I had taken our family cat about 10 days ago that both my boyfriend and I have our names on the account.I made arrangements that day w/ the Doctor for surgery,and payment arrangements.The day comes for surgery and my boyfriend calls the doctor at the last minute to make other arrangements w/ the cat and w/ the billing.The Doctor stated that arrangements were made w/ my boyfriend because he said he was paying for it and paying more.So the Doctor made arrangements w/ out contacting me first.what it comes down to is Money and who has more.I Will be taking our family cat to another vet who isn't all about money.

Honestly Dr. Yates and his staff are wonderful. We've had multiple animal emergence's in the past month and they have been more than helpful. Letting us bring in our cat who was in pain when we weren't even their clients at the time during our first big snow of the year, fifteen minutes before closing time when our own vet at the time (Canandaigua Vet Hospital) who we had 6 pets through wouldn't. Then two weeks ago at 11p.m. our cat was still having issues and we brought him in because Dr. Yates was willing to meet us. Same with our dog who we had to bring in on a Saturday, late in the afternoon. Each time they could have told us to head up to Henrietta but nope not once. We have switched vets and couldn't be more pleased with the treatment and services at The Country Vet. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking or who isn't pleased with the services elsewhere. Like I said we had 6 pets all get fixed by Canandaigua Hospital and they had the nerve to tell us that "they didn't want their Vet to have to drive in the snow and wait for our cat, when we could just go to the emergency hospital" which has terrible reviews as is. Thanks again Dr. Yates and Team. You are the best!

Took my Cat in to be spayed and have shots, everyone was real friendly and helpful.Very satisfied and will recommend to anyone needing affordable treatment for their pets. I live across the road from the Canandaigua veterinary hospital that wanted $100 more for the exact same procedure.

I took my dog there for a skin problem. They took care of the problem and did not charge an arm and a leg! Great People!!
