I went there for the first time in January 2015 because I was looking for a holistic or homeopathic practice closer to my home. I saw Dr. B who is supposed to be the most homeopathic doctor there, according to the staff, she was no help to me whatsoever. First, I came in to discuss a Bordetella vaccine option for my dog since she and I are both in agreement that the Bordetella vaccine is useless and does NOT prevent kennel cough. I asked her about a homeopathic nosode, she said it doesn't work, I asked her about a waiver for the vaccine that I could give to the boarding facility I was considering, she refused and she kept telling me she won't lie for me, i was NOT suggesting she lie, I was only suggesting that since we agree that the vaccine doesn't really help and the potential risks of unnecessary vaccines I just wanted her to write that she declined the vaccine due to health reasons, she refused to cooperate. When I called for the appointment the receptionist told me they write waivers all the time. I didn't see potentially risking my pet's health for a vaccine that has been proven not to be protective. Bottom line, vets care about MONEY and getting their clients there yearly for tests and vaccines that pets don't need! Calling themselves homeopathic and holistic veterinarians is just a way to lure health conscious pet owners to there office, most vets that I have been to with this title use very little homeopathic remedies, it's just a scam to charge you more money and drain your pockets. Beware! Do your research , read "Scared Poopless" a book re: the dangers of over-vaccinating your pets. Look up your vet's history, an informed pet owner is the only way to protect your pet from suffering.

I have always received excellent, compassionate care for my animals at Vet at the Barn. The staff from receptionist, vet techs to the Doctors themselves have all been friendly and helpful. I sometimes have to wait for an appointment but don't mind that at all because there have been times I required that courtesy from others when I had an emergency with my animals. I think it shows their level of care that they will dedicate additional time to animals, and people, who are in need of it. Dr. Binkowski provided exceptional end of life care to several of my pets, exploring all viable options to provide the them with very best quality of life. We can not thank her or all the staff enough.

Disappointment beyond grief. A pet is a family member. Vet At The Barn customer Service worker "Ellen" escalated incompetence to mistrust. Regrettably, lost all trust. This evaluation does not include or reflect on Dr. Shane.

Dr. Binkowski is a compassionate veterinarian who takes as much time as necessary. She is also an excellent diagnostician. The staff has always been pleasant and professional.

i only had a phone consultation, but the vet that i spoke to (maybe "dr. b") was very cold and uncompassionate when i was talking to her about my dog that was just diagnosed with stage v lymphoma. i would not recommend her or them to any of my friends or family and i definitely will never go there in the future.
