For almost ten years, my dogs have been under the care of the vets at Garden City Park Animal Hospital. Their practice manager is always ready to lend a hand, the technicians are well seasoned and the front desk is commanded by staff wearing smiles under great pressure! Recently I had a rather somber situation with one of my champion females (I am a small hobby show breeder)...luckily Dr. Dattner jumped in and things turned out, the dog is fine and we are forever grateful to him. Not only is he an excellent veterinarian, but a compassionate human being as well! I've also had pleasant experiences with Dr. Steiger and Dr. Deme, who is now seeing patients at the Mineola site. Dr. Deme saved 'Chiquita' when she was very young and had become septic. In my eyes, he performed no less than a miracle.
