Dr Broderick is the finest veterinarian I ever met. When my dog got sick as a puppy I called several people and they told me to go to the south town animal clinic on wall street in Huntington Long Island Ny my puppy was dying from parvo virus. Dr Broderick greeted me with kindness and compation along with the rest of his staff in his country style thoroughly equipted, modern animal hospital, He immediately went to work on my dog luna and treated her with care that I never experienced before nor that I knew existed. He admitted Luna into his animal hospital and worked on her for five days. When I went to pick her up I was thrilled to see my puppy full of life again and on the road to recovery. Dr Broderick spent at least another half hour with me before I took her home. He taught me how to take care of her and how to keep her well at home. He use nutrition instead of drugs and saved my dogs life. I follow to this day his nutritional program and my dog is now a year and a half old, looks beautiful, is in perfect physical condition and is full of health. Luna has never had another day of sickness since I met Dr Broderick. He is literally the most knowledgeable health care professional that I have ever met in my life.

10 years ago my dog needed an operation on her left rear leg. Broderick called me in the middle of the operation to say he operated on the right rear leg, and that even though that leg wasn't injured it needed to be operated on even more than the good leg. On top of this, he made me pay in cash to get my dog back. I called him a few days later and asked for my dog's xrays. He didn't want to give me them until I told him we were moving to California. I then brought the xrays to another local vet in Huntington. My dog still couldn't walk on her left rear leg, and I had to pay again for an operation. The other vet did a great job. When I showed him the xray, he said he just shook his head. I hope Doc Broderick goes to hell, because he puts every customer through hell.

I took my puppy to the Southdown Animal Clinic yesterday and was not only pleased with the service, but relieved that I had found one of the best vets and people I have ever come in contat with. My puppy had been throwing up and had Diarreha for a few days, he typically has a very sensitive stomach and eventually he gets better....this time was to long, I called the Clinic at 4:00 and was told to come in immediatley, I was given the warmest greeting by Dr. Broderick and he showed me true concern about my puppies health..... Once he had checked my precious little puppy, he had given me the bill which was so amazingly reasonable that I felt horrible that I could not pay it in full. Dr. Broderick told me to "Pay What You Can." He truley has a love and deep concern for animals, they are more then just a business they are a God sent. The next day I recieved a call from the clinic asking about how my little buddy was feeling, Thanks to the good Doctors at South my little doggie is fine and Healthy. If you Love your Pet, not just as a pet but as a real family member...then take them to the best Doctor, South Down Animal Clinic.

Doc Broderick was called a "snake oil salesman" on national TV (Shark Tank) for his false claims about Cornucopia products. He had his vet's license put on probation in 2005 and the complaints keep coming in. Cheap vaccinations are not full dose. Extras are added to your bill. You're not paying for good animal care, you're paying for his NASTY wife's newest face lift and his CLUELESS daughter's big fake boobies. Take your pet ANYWHERE BUT HERE!

Every single one star review on this panel is correct!This place is scary,why it is not shut down is beyond me.I was new to the area and didnt know of any other place thats why i checked it out.I had to walk out because it was like an infomercial gone bad.Never ever have I had such a bad experience at a veterinary facility.I hear Harborside is a good facility and its also in the area..PLEASE DO NOT GO TO DR. BRODERICK..HE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ANIMALS!
