I recently moved to Nanuet from Chicago. I took my male bengal cat Romeo here for neutering. After shopping around and calling every Vet in the area they had the best over the phone estimate. The initial visit was for a check up and blood work to make sure he was ok for anesthesia. During the visit I told the Dr. Goldman that my vet in Chicago advised me to wait for him to grow a bit before having him neutered and that he had begun spraying in the house so it was time to have him "fixed". Because of the my schedule I was told I could bring him in the night before the surgery and pick him up the next evening. This was the week of Hurricane Sandy. I was given a call to bring him Monday the night before the surgery. The hurricane came on Tuesday and me and my wife were staying at our in laws due to high ground and would not of been able to have our Cat there especially if he spraying. The office had lost power for a few days during and after the storm, however, Dr. Goldman lives close by and came by to check on Romeo regularly. I was able to pick him up on the Thursday following and found out that the Surgery had actually been done prior to the power going out. They kept Romeo there to help me with my situation due to the storm and his spraying in the house and did not charge me any extra for boarding. I brought him home and you could hardly tell anything was done except from his change in behavior. No more spraying and he has become so affectionate without all the testosterone in his body. The staff was very friendly and involved in the care as well and made sure he was comfortable during his stay. Thank You to Nanuet Animal Hospital for everything. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience and wouldn't think of taking my pets anywhere else.

What a wonderful place.Everyone was so nice and professional.Our vet is retiring and we dont like the new one.We took our Dachshund there for an injury on her back leg.The Dr. spent alot of time and gave her a thorough exam.He didnt think it was serious so didnt do expensive unwarranted xrays.He was right with some rest and medication she was better in a couple of days.
