I moved to the area a few years ago and intended to use the WVC as my primary care vet for my three cats. The staff are friendly and the vet/s were good with my animals, but the prices are outrageous even for Manhattan. In the few months that I used the WVC I spent more on my animals than I have spent for medical care for myself over the past 2 years (including the cost of my medical insurance). Still, I wouldn't be inclined to leave a negative review if not for the fact that the vet repeatedly encouraged me to have unnecessary and costly tests done on my cats. Whenever I took one of my cats to another vet for a second opinion (and third and fourth), no other vets found the same "problem" and looked at me as if I were crazy. Even basic medical supplies are vastly over priced. When my cat was spayed and needed a E-collar, they charged me triple the rate that I would have paid at the nearby pet-supply store.
