Making an appointment here really doesn't matter you'll wait no matter what and the atmosphere is a bit like the DMV. Recently moved nearby and took my dog in for a persistent limp. He was examined and we were told an x-ray would be needed and we could have it done for under under $200. When we returned a week or so later it was explained that we had to have and pay $40 for an additional examination, that anesthesia would be an "extra" $80 though we were told initially it was mandatory and included in the original quote. Then they told us all in all it would be closer to $400 dollars. Mis communication and lack of organization aside, the poor attitude and very limited individual they had at the front desk telling us all this (the indifferent vets that walked by couldn't be bothered) made us leave and we won't be going back. It was clear they were employing bait and switch tactics to fleece us and other clients nearby. I would NOT trust them with my dog! STAY AWAY.

Been Going to Bronx Vet Center since 2006. It's the only place I trust with my Pets. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The Medical staff are fair and really care for the welfare of Animals. The Center Itself is clean, inviting and doesn't feel like a stale clinic. I highly recommend this Vet center for your pets!

Well once again the Bronx Veterinary Center has been very helpful,patient,and lovable with my Maxx even thou he isn't easy to handle. The staff was amazing in helping him get all his shots and making sure he was in good health. Love the staff ,your awesome and I know Maxx thanks you. I'm very happy with the results I got. this place is just there to take your money they give you the wrong information about your pet that is first. Secondly i took my cat there because she spent a few days without consuming food and without using her litter box. The day we went they did some blood work and then told us to step out the room. The following day they have the odacity to give us a paper not explaining what they did to my cat and a few days later my cat is in severe critical condition so i would not recommend this place to anyone if you know whats good for your pet and your pocket do not go to this clinic

I have been to this clinic twice with two different dogs, each time it has been wonderful. When I leave there I feel content with the service and treatment of my pets. I own 5 dogs and have been to nearly every clinic in the Bronx. My 12 year old had an enlarged prostate, Dr.Vyorst gave him an oral paste to ease his pain and he hasn't had a problem since. Other doctors give you a song and a dance with older pets about having to give them EKG's and other tests just to diagnose them, this doctor was straight to the point; the medication was only 10 dollars. They are not expensive, even for walk-in's. The medication is never expensive, it's clean and not too long of a wait to be seen. Probably the best clinic in the Bronx, in comparison with going all the way downtown to the large animal hospitals. Great Service....
