I am unbelievably disappointed with this animal "hospital". My puppy had all of the symptoms of bloat, which is extremely dangerous in dogs and could kill them in hours. His symptoms started later at night and we started to really worry. We called this vet for help several times and they told us they wouldn't take him in because we’re not regular patients. They wouldn't even let us talk to the vet that was working. The only thing they did was give us the number to an emergency vet in Syracuse which is 2 hours away and is extremely pricey and unaffordable. We told them that we were scared he was going to die and that driving two hours away wasn’t an option to us and if they could please help us, and that we would fill out the forms to become a regular patient as well. They still said no and turned us away. I have never dealt with something like this before at any other animal hospital before and have never experienced insensitive, and careless service like this before.

Our heat went out during a bitter January, 2014, winter in upstate New York. I use another veterinarian who doesn't have boarding facilities and needed to board my dogs quickly. I would highly recommend Watertown Animal Hospital to anyone seeking veterinary services. My animals were happy, healthy and well taken care of when I picked them up three days later. The staff is very professional and are very caring. I give them 5 stars.

I thought the experience was very good. I brought my cat Wesker into their office on a Saturday. He didn't have a previous record with them, but they accommodated for us. I was scared he wasn't going to make it through the weekend, but they instantly put him under oxygen and kept him there while they treated him. The veterinarian, Dr. Jank, called me every day twice a day to update me on his condition. It was a slow process, but thankfully they saved my Wesker's life. I feel so grateful to the entire office for there love for animals during this ordeal. It was one of the hardest weeks I've ever been through, and they were there for us the whole way.
