I want to give credit where credit is due. Best care that my Dog has ever received. Diagnosis made which had never been found by his Vet. Meanwhile taking meds. for a possible illness which was unnecessary while real condition went un-noticed. Thank you for being the best out there. Sorry that you are only "Emergent" care for I would switch and use these Docs. full time if they were a regular practice. Thank you
Nice people. Clean place. We did not have a good experience. We weren't expecting much and got less even than we expected. There are likely better emergency animal care entities in this area and suggest you look elsewhere. Probably ok as a last resort but only that. Not impressed.
My puppy had been bitten by another dog. The receptionist was extremely pleasant. While I had to wait quite a while - more serious emergencies, understandably came first. But when it was our turn, we had Dr. Bresser's undivided and unhurried attention. When the puppy seemed nervous being on the exam table, Dr. Bresser sat down on the floor and examined the dog on the floor. He said dogs are comfortable on the floor so he will happily go down to meet them and examine them there whenever possible. He was extremely thorough - making sure the bite I knew about was the only puncture. He then had his staff shave the area, clean the area and then the flushed the area. We left with antibiotic, pain killer and total confidence that we had been properly and thoroughly treated. (Said we should go to our own vet for a rabies booster.) All the staff was highly compassionate and professional.
Dr. Pugh and her staff were excellent. They helped me through making a difficult decision of putting my dog to sleep without giving me false hope. They made such a difficult experience better than I could have imagined. They took their time with me and my family and answered every question I had and gave me their opinion. I would go to them in any emergency situation. Dr. Pugh has an excellent bedside manner too.
I rescued an abandoned cat and it was after hours. My regular vet recommended that I go to The Veterinary Emergency Group. I was a bit nervous but went anyway. The staff was EXTREMELY friendly not only to me but to the cat. They were caring and very thorough. The even followed up with me to see how the cat was doing. They made sure I had all the paperwork I needed to bring to my vet when it was time for a follow up. They actualy took better care of Garfield and me than most hopsitals take care of humans. Thank you everyone at the group for everything. You a very kind and compassionate people.
